RatesStandard National Rate and Terms of ServiceMr. Rhodes' current standard national rate is $75.00 per hour for contract work on behalf of lawyers across the U.S., to assist in their work in all state and federal courts. Verifiable members of state trial lawyers associations and non-profit constitutional/civil rights organizations get a 10% discount on that national rate. Mr. Rhodes keeps meticulous records of his time and strives to work as efficiently as possible to provide lawyers with outstanding results for the fees charged. Mr. Rhodes is also very conscientious about meeting any and all deadlines - no excuses! Mr. Rhodes values his professional reputation greatly, and seeks satisfied, repeat clients and long-term, quality working relationships. Before beginning any work, Mr. Rhodes discusses the project with a client and then usually gives an estimate of the time it wil take to complete the particular project. That estimate will not be exceeded without express permission of the client. Montana RateFor Montana attorneys only, Stewart's current rate is $65.00 per hour. MTLA members get a special 20% discount on that Montana rate. Possible Alternative Rate and Fee ArrangementsFor all work, in or out of Montana, a discount rate is available for large jobs, or a flat rate may be negotiated for a specific project. Contingency fee arrangements may also be negotiated on particular projects. Discretionary Discounts for Constitutional Rights/Civil Rights/Righting of Injustice LitigationFor particularly critical or vital constitutional law issues, or in cases involving an especially egregious injustice or violation of the rights of people, Mr. Rhodes will provide his services at the discount rate of $50.00 per hour regardless of jurisdiction. This special rate is to be applied at his discretion, after review of the particular case. Pro Bono ServicesMr. Rhodes provides his services on a pro bono bases for a limited number of cases per year, and only while assisting attorneys who are themselves serving in a pro bono capacity. Mr. Rhodes takes seriously his obligation to undertake significant pro bono projects yearly, in service to his country and community. Mr. Rhodes has assisted in a pro bono capacity on criminal cases, including federal criminal appeals involving important civil rights and constitutional law issues.
